Donald Olivares is a lifelong New Orleanian. He is the youngest of 5 siblings, born to parents who emigrated from Honduras in the late 1950s. His love of photography began on a family road trip from New Orleans to San Pedro Sula, Honduras in 1973 where he took numerous photos with the family camera. He has been an employee of Tulane University for over 30 years in a variety of positions, his most recent is Clerkship Coordinator for medical students of the Radiology Department. Donald has been married to his wife, Amy for over 36 years, they have one son, Leo.
